Purchase for yourself - Fabric Tie Style Accessible Protective Face Mask

$15.00

Clear communication. That sounds fair to us.

Soundfair has created an accessible protective face mask. Fabric tie are recommended for glasses and hearing aid wearers.

This product was ethically handmade and designed in Australia. The facemask comprises of two layers of 100% cotton with a clear plastic windowpane. The ‘duck style’ design ensures the mask sits away from mouth and contains an adjustable nose ‘brace’ that allows you to mould the fit of the top of the mask around your nose.

Due to difficulties securing fabrics and elastic, the color you receive may vary between royal blue, navy and black.

Size guide

· Small – for an average size female face

· Large – for an average size male face

In the product image, Jess wears a large tie face mask.

We recommend fabric tie masks for people wearing hearing aids and/or glasses.

Unfortunately, we do not have options for young children at present.

Anti-fog

The masks do fog up upon wearing. While we continue to investigate a more permanent (washing machine proof) anti-fog solution to our masks we recommend using Clearwipe anti-fog lens wipe (available from Chemist Warehouse) which not only keeps the mask free from fog but it also acts as a disinfectant wipe (and can be used on your glasses too). Simply wipe the inside plastic surface of the mask with the lens cleaner and reapply after washing or if fogging returns.

A single Clearwipe sachet (single use) will be provided with each mask purchased.

Alternatively, the home remedy to anti-fog is to rub a fragrance-free detergent or shaving cream on the inside of the plastic and wipe off with a dry cloth (do not rinse).

Washing instructions

The materials withstand a hot wash (up to 60 degrees) when required, however, cold machine wash is recommended. Do not bleach, dry clean, nor tumble dry. Warm iron the fabric only, if required.
